Annual Chestnut Roast!

Here at NutQuacker Farms, we combine our efforts with a local winery, Hood River Vineyards, and celebrate a chestnut roast with red wine, Italian Style. This event will be held on November 1st and 2nd, 2008 right here at NutQuacker Farms in Hood River, Oregon.

According to Italian custom, the chestnuts are roasted, peeled and dropped into a glass of red wine. As the wine is sipped, the flavors and aromas of the chestnut mingle with the fruitiness of the wine, creating a unique sensation.

Directions: From Interstate 84, take exit 64. Turn southbound on Hwy 35, then left on to Neal Creek Road. Continue south for 1/4 mile, then turn left at orchard chestnut sign and you are there!
